In the “West Australian” of 22 February 2018 our Premier, Mark McGowan, said that he wanted a sister-state relationship with economic powerhouse, Texas. Perth already has a sister-city relationship with Houston.
West Australia is four times larger than Texas but shares similarities in agriculture, beef and oil and gas.
The Old Fliers Group’s own Texan, Jack Fletcher, came to WA in 1965 to pioneer West Kimberley beef production. His vision is now a little closer.
